Scriptural Government

We will employ the following hermeneutical tools in this article:

  1. The Rule of First mention
  2. The Rule of Complete mention
  3. Covenant language i.e. “keep my commandments”
  4. His perfect will for creation
  5. PaRDeS (THE RULES OF PARDES INTERPRETATION *
  6. Ancient Hebrew pictograph
  7. Simple gematria
  • The four levels of interpretation are called: Pashat, Remez, D’rash & Sud. The first letter of each word P-R-D-S is taken, and vowels are added for pronunciation, giving the word PARDES (meaning “garden” or “orchard”). Each layer is deeper and more intense than the last, like the layers of an onion.  (http://www.yashanet.com)

The Lords Prayer

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

  • The topic of this teaching is “Scriptural Government.”  The task laid before me is to determine exactly what that means.  In my opinion, I am certain that it was the intention of our Creator to have the same form of government on earth as it is in heaven.  In fact, we just read those very words from the mouth of Yeshua.
  • I am also certain that His “Scriptural Government” is set before us in the form of the Book of the Covenant.
  • Ge. 1:2:  “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
  • The word to examine is “void.” The Hebrew word for “ void” is בֹּהוּ.  Bohu is defined as; by an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, i.e. (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin:—emptiness, void.
  • It means the earth was a vacuum and needed to be filled with something.  That something was The Father, light.  Keep in mind, we are talking about two separate realms.  It will be the Aleph Tav, Yeshua, who will fill that vacuum with The Fathers light.  If we consider that “light” is the Book of the Covenant then we know that this is His “Holy writ.”
  • Recall the first word of Scripture, Bereshit, explains His perfect will for mankind.  Looking at this word in the Hebrew we see the word “covenant” and “fire,” speaking to the Covenant of Pieces.

בְּרֵאשִׁית

  • His “Scriptural Government” is found within the Book of Covenant, the capstone of which is the Ten Words.
  • Scripture tells us that the male and female that were “made” on day six were given “dominion.”  Ge. 1:26 – 28:  “Then God said, ‘let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
  • Their mandate was to be fruitful, multiply  and have dominion.  They were supposed to establish His government on earth.
  • A mere ten generations from the male and female, violence has filled the earth.  Ge. 6:13:  “And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth (אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ ).” **The earth was supposed to be filled with the “strength of the covenant” but instead it was filled with its absence. Recall that Noah is descended from the formed man of Ge. 2:7. He is not of the same lineage as the day six creation.
  • The male and female were given the assignment of dominion.  The subject of this dominion was to preserve the integrity of His creation.  Scripture tells us that they did fail in their assignment because the “earth was filled with violence.”
  • The Hebrew word for “dominion” is “rada,” רָדָה.  Rada is defined as follows: to rule, have dominion, dominate or tread down.  The numerical value of “rada” is 209; 2 + 9 = 11.  Eleven is a number that is associated with Yeshua.
  • Yeshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus and is derived from the root word Y’sha.  Y’sha is spelled with a Yud, Shin and Ayin and means “to be saved.”  The numerical value  of Y’sha is 380; 3 + 8 = 11.  The numerical value of “rada” shows us that it will be Yeshua who has the ultimate dominion over the entire earth.
  • The word “rada” is used 27 times in the Tanach.  There are 22 letters in the Hebrew Aleph Bet plus five ending, sofit, letters totaling 27.  The Hebrew letters are used to form words, His words. This is what the male and female were enjoined to do, teach His words.  Did they succeed or fail?
  • The Hebrew word for violence is “hamas,” חָמָס.  This word is comprised of the letters Chet, Mem and Samech.
  • Chet = a picture of a fence which means to divide, separate and private.
  • Mem = a picture of water which means liquid, chaos or mighty.
  • Samech =  a prop, hand or staff which means to support, twist or turn.
  • There is only one significant thing to “twist” which was The Fathers’ work of goodness.
  • In its ancient form violence means: “They have separated themselves from the “rules of the kingdom” and entered into chaos where His doctrine is twisted.”
  • Armed with this understanding we can see clearly that the Scripture isn’t speaking to the act of physical violence, rather Scripture is showing the reader that in The Fathers eyes this violence, the violence that would cause Him to reverse creation, relates to his creation departing from His own doctrine.  This was what Yeshua corrected during His first advent.  Jn. 7:16:  “Yeshua answered them and said, ‘My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.’”
  • The consequence of their failure was the reversal of creation, the flood.  Consider what the Rabbis believe which is this; if anyone speaks the Hebrew language anywhere throughout the world, it will maintain creation itself, the “Tikkun Olam, or “repair the world.”
  • Something else for us to consider is what was given to the man formed in Ge. 2:7:  “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
  • What do you think this “breath” could mean?
  • This brings me to an interesting point.  What do you think our understanding of Scripture would be if the Hebrew letters had been translated according to there ancient pictograph understanding instead of manmade definitions?
  • For example: Bereshit!  ב ר א ש י ת
  • Our translation of “In the  beginning” is correct if we are reading Scripture from a Greek mindset.  The letter Bet means in, with or on and reshit means beginning, hence the phrase, “in the beginning.”

HOWEVER!

  • The Bet means house, tent or family
  • The Resh means first, beginning or head
  • The Aleph means strength, power or leader
  • The Shin means consume, destroy, sharp or divine presence
  • The Yud means work, make or throw
  • The Tav means mark, seal or covenant
  • In its ancient form Bereshit would read:  “His family, that was from the beginning, would have power to destroy the adversary’s work while sealing those of His who were in covenant.”
  • Speaking to the Romans, the apostle Paul say in 8:34 – 36:  “Who is there to condemn us? For Messiah Yeshua, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”…
  • The apostle Paul clearly understood that the work of the adversary was to cause separation, chaos and the twisting of His doctrine.
  • Bereshit has everything to do with creation, that being the creation of a family for Yeshua, the Son.  This family will be given authority, perhaps even dominion, over the work of the adversary whose purpose from the reshit, the beginning, was to subvert the work of The Fathers goodness.
  • Praise, honor and glory be to His most majestic name that has brought mankind to this point in history, that is, where we have the understanding and ability to examine Hebrew words in their ancient form.
  • Yeshua had many objectives to accomplish at His first advent.  Reestablishing The Fathers doctrine is one of many. By this time in history there were well established manmade doctrines being worshipped instead of The Fathers doctrine.  Yeshua came to make a stark distinction between the two.
  • In your opinion, do you think Yeshua came to “repair the world” or let it be further deteriorated? In the last two-thousand years many more man made doctrines have cropped up.  Once again, it will take the leadership of our Messiah Yeshua to weed through them all and establish The Fathers truth.  We should all be on high alert whenever someone says, “I know its not in the Bible but…”  We should be ready to offer truth according to what is in the Scripture.
  • After the flood which was caused due to a separation between The Father and mankind, the earth was repopulated by the surviving eight souls, Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives.  In my opinion, Noah was a priest after the order of Melchizedek followed by his son Shem.
  • He would have been responsible for teaching the “rules of the kingdom” also known as The Fathers doctrine.  I think it’s safe to say that that the firstborn son of Shem would have carried on the priesthood if he chose to walk in covenant loyalty. Moses, the second son of Amram was selected and called by The Father and was the last priest after the order of Melchizedek, a priesthood that was transferred to Aaron, the first in the Aaronic line of High Priests.  They may not have been called “rulers” as such, however they would have certainly been responsible for teaching the people His way.

Judah

  • Dominion means the male and female had rulership or kingship over Yahs creation.  This rulership would be prophesied over the tribe of Judah in Ge. 49:8 – 12: “Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion’s whelp; from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion; and as a lion, who shall rouse him? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people. Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes. His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.”
  • There are at least three interesting points to be made regarding this prophecy or blessing.
  • The first point is the fact that Judah is the fourth son of Jacob which connects us to the fourth word of Scripture, the first appearance of the Aleph Tav.

בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָֽרֶץ

  • Judah receives the kingship blessing even though he is fourth in order behind Reuben, Simeon and Levi.
  • The second point is the spelling of his name Judah, יְהוּדָה.  His name is spelled with a Yud, Hey, Vav, Dalet and Hey.  The Yud, Hey, Vav and Hey spell the tetragrammaton used for the name of YaHaVah in Scripture, י ה ו ה, with the addition of the Dalet, ד.  This shows us that the fourth letter of the Aleph Bet, the Dalet, is the pathway of The Father.
  • Thirdly, the name Judah is used three times in this prophecy.  This speaks to the third day of creation and its seed bearing vegetation, Yeshua being the “pure seed.”  The numerical value of Judah is 30.  Can this be a coincidence?
  • The ultimate lawgiver will of course be our Mashiach, Yeshua.
  • Is. 9:6 – 7 prophesies even further:  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
  • Yeshua will be the ultimate lawgiver! Hallelujah!
  • The summary of Part One is this:
  • The dominion given to the male and female from day six of creation was a mandate from The Father to establish His “rule of law” to His creation as well as maintaining the integrity of creation itself.
  • The male and female failed in their mandate because a short ten generations later the earth was filled with violence, a separation of mankind and YaHaVah.
  • The promise is then given to Judah, the fourth son of Jacob, of a future “lawgiver.”
  • Recapping from Part One….

Government

  • We are going to examine two Hebrew words, government and shoulder.
  • The Hebrew word for government is “misra,” מִשְׂרָה.  In its ancient form, “misra” would read:  “The mighty one will consume the work of His enemy who was from the beginning by the breath of His nostril.”
  • “Misra” comes from the root (Sarah) שָׂרָה. “Misra” is defined by three concepts.
  • 1.) To set things in a row or to place things in order.  At the second advent of Yeshua, He will be setting things in order.  The Fathers’ government will be established on earth as He intended from the beginning.
  • 2.) To be a leader, commander or prince.  This is evident by the spelling of the word, שָרָה.  The letters Shin and Resh compose the word “prince.”  Yeshua is the “Sar Shalom,” the Prince of Peace.”
  • 3.) To fight.  This word can be used to establish Yeshua as the “War chief” as it can also mean to wage war.  At His second advent, Yeshua will be waging war with the adversary and his minions.
  • The numerical value of “misra” is 545; 5 +4 +5 = 14.  Fourteen is the number of Pesach as it occurs on the fourteenth day of the first month.
  • It’s a well established Scriptural fact that Yeshua is the Pascal, Passover, lamb.  The numerical value of fourteen further establishes Yeshua as the future “lawgiver.”
  • It’s a beautiful thing to see the prophetic picture of Yeshua throughout the entirety of Scripture unfold.  We saw the fulfillment of many prophecies regarding Yeshua at His first advent.  We shall see the balance of His prophetic picture fulfilled at His second advent.
  • The number for “government” is twelve, hence the twelve sons of Jacob.  The twelfth letter of the Hebrew Aleph Bet is the Lamed, ל.  In its ancient form the Lamed is a shepherd staff or goad and means to control, authority or to teach.  The numerical value of the Lamed is 30.
  • John 10:11 – 18 tells us exactly who the shepherd is:  “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
  • I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
  • Yeshua is the “good shepherd,” who has chosen to lay down his life for the sheep.  He has been given an assignment from YaHaVah, that being “authority,” His “authority” to teach the doctrine of The Father.  An assignment consistent with the letter Lamed.
  • The character of the Lamed is consistent with Yeshua in the following manner:
  • Thirty, the numerical value of the Lamed connects us to the third day of creation, speaking to the creation of seed bearing vegetation.  This number also provides a connection to resurrection.
  • The Good Shepherd, chooses to lay down his life for his sheep.  This of course, speaks to the death of Yeshua as our kinsman redeemer.
  • Yeshua will teach The Fathers doctrine and has been given His full authority.  His doctrine is His government.  In my opinion, we cannot separate these two concepts.
  • Even the people he was teaching recognized His authority.  Mt. 7:28 – 29:  “And so it was, when Yeshua had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”
  • Again, in the words of Yeshua, Mt. 28:18 – 20:  “And Yeshua came and spoke to them, saying, ‘all authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’”
  • Most people reading Isaiah 9 believe it is speaking about Yeshua, I know this is what I believe.  If this is correct, then we should see a confirmation of that understanding in the words of Messiah Yeshua at His first advent.
  • From Is. 9:7:  “…upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.”
  • Beginning with the Book of Matthew, his genealogy was provided in order to establish the lineage of Messiah Yeshua.  Yeshua descends from the tribe of Judah as did King David.  Can Yeshua be the true Messiah if he descended from another tribe?
  • King David was given a prophecy regarding his descendant as recorded in 2 Sam. 7:12: “When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers (אֶת־אֲבֹתֶיךָ ), I will set up your seed (אֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ ) after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom (אֶת־מַמְלַכְתּֽוֹ).”
  • At least in part, this prophecy is speaking to Yeshua because this person will establish judgment and justice forever. I can’t say that we had all that many righteous kings in either kingdom.  We can see by the placement of the Aleph Tav that the “fathers,” “seed,” and “kingdom” all are associated to the “strength of the covenant” who is Yeshua.
  • Micah 5:2 further prophesied “But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”
  • This prophecy seems to also indicate its recipient is Yeshua.  A new word for us to examine is the Hebrew word for “ruler,” which is “mashal” מָשַׁל.  “Mashal” is defined as “to rule, have dominion or to reign.”  In the Hebrew language we often have more than one word for any single English word.  The numerical value of “Mashal” is 370; 3 + 7 = 10.  This tells us that when this word is used as in Micah 5:2, the prophet is speaking about a “ruler” that will institute obedience to the “rules of the kingdom,” the ten words.
  • If we believe Scripture is truth, and we believe that Yeshua spoke only The Fathers doctrine, then we should also consider our own obedience to the Ten Words. Yeshua operated with “all authority” as given to Him by The Father.  Yeshua taught His disciples the “rules of the kingdom,” His “kingdom government” then bestowed upon them His authority.
  • Mt. 10:1 – 4:  “Yeshua called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. (NIV)
  • What was the religious atmosphere in Jerusalem at the time of Yeshua?
  • The Hebrew people were steeped in Pharisaic Judaism. Yeshua referred to their system of belief as the “traditions of men.” In fact Yeshua doesn’t mince any words regarding this subject. Mk. 7:1 – 9: “Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. Now when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders. When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches.
  • Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?’ He answered and said to them, ‘well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:  ‘this people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.  And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.’ He said to them, ‘all too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.’”
  • Again we see Scripture tell us there is a chasm between manmade dogma and The Fathers’ “kingdom government.”  The “seed war” which continues to this day.
  • What are the “traditions of men” and when did they takeover the belief system of the Israelites?
  • Although priests controlled the rituals of the Temple, the scribes and sages, later called rabbis (Hebrew for “Teacher/master”), dominated the study of the Torah. These men maintained an oral tradition that they believed had originated at Mount Sinai alongside the Torah of Moses; a God-given interpretation of the Torah.
  • Sadducees rejected the Pharisaic tenet of an Oral Torah, creating two Jewish understandings of the Torah. An example of this differing approach is the interpretation of, “an eye in place of an eye”. The Pharisaic understanding was that the value of an eye was to be paid by the perpetrator. In the Sadducees’ view the words were given a more literal interpretation, in which the offender’s eye would be removed.
  • The sages of the Talmud see a direct link between themselves and the Pharisees, and historians generally consider Pharisaic Judaism to be the progenitor of Rabbinic Judaism, that is normative, mainstream Judaism after the destruction of the Second Temple. All mainstream forms of Judaism today consider themselves heirs of Rabbinic Judaism and, ultimately, the Pharisees.

Oral Torah

  • According to Rabbinic Judaism, the Oral Torah or Oral Law (Hebrew: תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל־פֶּה‎,  romanized: Tōrā šebbəʿal-pe) are statutes and legal interpretations that were not recorded in the Five Books of Moses, the Written Torah (תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב‎, Tōrā šebbīḵṯāv, ‘”Written Law”‘), and which are regarded by Orthodox Jews as prescriptive and given at the same time. This holistic Jewish code of conduct encompasses a wide swathe of rituals, worship practices, God–man and interpersonal relationships, from dietary laws to Sabbath and festival observance to marital relations, agricultural practices, and civil claims and damages.
  • According to Rabbinic Jewish tradition, the Oral Torah was passed down orally in an unbroken chain from generation to generation until its contents were finally committed to writing following the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE, when Jewish civilization was faced with an existential threat, by virtue of the dispersion of the Jewish people.  (Wikipedia)
  • Yeshua was dealing with the rituals contained within the “Oral Torah.”  It seems to me that the “Oral Torah” was written down into the modern day Talmud.  This form of Judaism is still practiced today.  A substitution of sorts of the “Oral Torah” over and above the written Torah.

The Talmud

  • The Talmud has two components: the Mishnah (משנה c. 200 CE), a written compendium of the Oral Torah; and the Gemara (גמרא c. 500 CE), an elucidation of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Hebrew Bible. The term “Talmud” may refer to either the Gemara alone, or the Mishnah and Gemara together.  (Wikipedia)
  • If we embrace Judaism today, this is what we would study, NOT necessarily Scripture, but the Talmud.
  • 2 Tim. 4:3 – 4:  “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
  • It seems to me that since the beginning we have had enmity between The Fathers doctrine and manmade traditions.  This is of course, the “seed war” of Ge. 3:15.  Adhering to the “traditions of men” and opposing the doctrine of The Father as taught by Yeshua, they make themselves to be unrighteousness.  Mt. 5:20: “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
  • The Father equates righteousness, which will enable us to be received in the “kingdom of heaven,” as obedience to His doctrine, His doctrine is His form of government.  His doctrine is made clear to us in the Book of the Covenant, Ge. 1:1 – Ex. 24:11.  This is our goal as believers isn’t it? Our obedience to His doctrine is how we show Him we love Him.  Yesha said it well in Jn. 14:15:  “If you love me keep my commandments.”
  • At His second advent, is Yeshua going to rule the millennial kingdom under the guidelines of manmade dogma or the “rules of the kingdom” i.e. kingdom government?  Does Scripture address this issue?
  • Is. 2:3 – 4:  “In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say: ‘come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob.’ He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Then He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor train anymore for war.… (Berean Standard Bible)
  • Rev. 12:5:  “She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.”
  • Rev. 19:15:  “Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”
  • At His second advent, there will be no more manmade traditions.  Yeshua will rule with a rod of iron.
  • Yeshua is the “good shepherd” who teaches The Fathers governmental doctrine. Yeshua selects twelve, the number of government, disciples to take The Fathers doctrine to the nations.  It will be from the covenant community that “in those days” additional shepherds will teach His governmental doctrine.
  • Jer 3:15:  “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
  • Take a minute and read Jeremiah, chapter three.  It seems to me that the phrase “in those days” is referring to the millennial kingdom.
  • Rev. 21:12 – 14 describes the twelve gates entering the New Jerusalem, “Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:  three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”
  • The twelve tribes of Israel, observed the “rules of the kingdom” and the twelve apostles of Yeshua took these “rules” to the nations.
  • Matthew 10:5 – 6:  “These twelve Yeshua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, ‘go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’”
  • Luke.10:1:  “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.”
  • Matthew 28:16 – 19:  “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Yeshua had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Yeshua came and spoke unto them, saying, ‘all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.’”
  • In conclusion, Yahs’ system of government was from the reshit, the beginning. Initially, His governmental system was spoken to Adam (Ge. 2:7) by the EtKol, Yeshua, in the garden.
  • His governmental system was administered by the Melchizedek priesthood, the ancestors of Messiah Yeshua (refer to His lineage in the gospel of Luke). His system of government will continue throughout the millennial kingdom and be administered by Yeshua himself, as He is the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.
  • In my opinion, His governmental system is eternal!  This is the system of government the chosen shepherds will also administer.  Won’t they too, be part of the Melchizedek priesthood?
